Warning Signs of Problem Gambling
Recognizing the warning signs of problem gambling is crucial. If you or someone you know exhibits any of these behaviors, help is available. According to the Nevada Council on Problem Gambling, warning signs include:
Signs You May Have a Gambling Problem:
- •Gambling to escape worry or trouble - Using gambling as a way to avoid problems or relieve feelings of anxiety, depression, or stress
- •Gambling to obtain money to solve financial difficulties - Trying to win money to pay bills or solve money problems
- •Inability to stop playing - Feeling unable to stop gambling, regardless of whether you're winning or losing
- •Gambling until the last dollar is gone - Continuing to play until all available money is spent
- •Losing time from work due to gambling - Missing work or being late because of gambling activities
- •Borrowing money to pay gambling debts - Taking out loans, borrowing from friends or family, or using credit cards to fund gambling
- •Neglecting family because of gambling - Spending less time with family or neglecting family responsibilities due to gambling
- •Lying about time and money spent gambling - Hiding or lying about gambling activities, losses, or time spent gambling
Signs for Family Members
If you're concerned about a loved one, watch for:
- Unexplained financial problems or missing money
- Reduced involvement in social activities
- Emotional distress, mood swings, or depression
- Lack of communication or secretive behavior
- Missing items of value or unexplained debts
- Spending excessive time away from home

Self-Exclusion Program
If you feel you need help controlling your gambling, Lexie's Bistro offers a Self-Exclusion Program that allows you to voluntarily exclude yourself from participating in gaming activities at our establishment.
How to Enroll in Self-Exclusion
Option 1: Visit In Person
Visit our gaming lounge cashier or management office to request and complete the self-exclusion forms. You must present valid state-issued identification.
Option 2: Request Forms by Phone
Call us at (702) 444-0391 to have the forms mailed to you. Completed forms must be returned in person with state-issued identification, or returned by mail with notarization.
Self-Exclusion Requirements
- Valid state-issued photo identification is required
- Forms must be completed and submitted in person, or returned by mail with notarization
- Self-exclusion periods are typically 1 year, 5 years, or lifetime
- Once enrolled, you cannot cancel or modify your self-exclusion during the selected period
Consequences of Self-Exclusion
If you enroll in the Self-Exclusion Program:
- You are prohibited from collecting any winnings from gaming activities
- You are excluded from participating in casino programs, promotions, or receiving complimentary services or goods
- You will be asked to leave if found on the gaming premises
- Your name will be added to the Nevada Gaming Control Board's self-exclusion database
Employee Training
In accordance with Nevada Gaming Control Board Regulation 5.170, all employees ofLexie's Bistro who interact directly with gaming patrons receive training on recognizing the signs and symptoms of problem gambling behavior. Our staff is trained to assist patrons in obtaining information about problem gambling programs and resources.
